Misty Run Farm has been raising miniature southdown sheep since 2002. We decided to raise these fun and lovable animals as a hobby business.
During the past few years we have come to realize that these little fuzzies are the best brush clearers. They work endlessly enjoying every bite full to keep our fence lines clear. They also mow the areas of our farm where we do not wish to take our bush hog. So not only do we raise them as a business, we raise them as working members of our farm.
Each or these animals is unique. They have their own differing personalities. But as a whole they are friendly, easy to keep, and a pleasure to work with. There can not be an easier breed of livestock to own.
